Vulnerabilidad del ser humano. Esquiadores sobre un desierto de nieve. Piel de nieve como alegoría de la fragilidad de la piel expuesta al sol que refleja sobre el blanco puro que se vuelve negativo. Debilidad de la vista. Fotofobia. Angustia, insuficiencia… Evidencia de la futilidad del ser humano en un planeta el que no representamos más que una minúscula parte del tiempo cósmico, y de su incapacidad ante un universo que nunca podrá dominar. Abstracción como confusión vital por la oscuridad a pleno sol. El hombre como prisionero del mundo sensible, del engaño de sus sentidos. Día nocturno.

Año 2011.

Proyecto documental experimental sobre las montañas. Montaña concebida desde un nivel primario y básico, incluso ingenuo o naïf. Búsqueda de una coherencia entre sentimiento y apariencia de la naturaleza. Se Trata de focalizar las emociones en unos lugares específicos, en este caso en las montañas; sujetos sagrados a lo largo de la historia que aquí adquieren el máximo protagonismo. Gigantes pétreos, iconos de elevación espiritual y de acercamiento de lo humano a la  divinidad. Paisajes "colgantes" que desafían las leyes de la gravedad. Estética pictórica en la que la cámara fotográfica se transforma en pincel y es la mirada la que crea el paisaje. Mundo pintado, mágico, construido por la psique. Abismo, disociación naturaleza y hombre, escapismo al más allá. Depuración de las formas hasta llegar a la esencia poética de los elementos vivenciales básicos proyectados en el paisaje.

(Suspended Landscape)

Documentary and experimental project about mountains. Mountain conceived from a primary and basic level, even naïf. Search for a coherence between feeling and appearance of nature. It tries to focus the emotions in specific locations, in this case in mountains; sacred subjects throughout history. Stone giants. Icons of spiritual elevation. Approach to divinity. "Hanging" Landscapes that defy gravity. Pictorial aesthetics, the camera becomes a brush and the gaze creates the landscape. Painted and magical world built by the psyche. Abyss, dissociation nature and man, escaped beyond. Shapes depuration to reach the poetic essence of basic experiential elements designed into the landscape.

“Un gran átomo lleno de hidrogeno y  helio, con enormes  temperaturas, presiones y  densidades, explotó y los  elementos sueltos se  reunieron formando  nebulosas que dieron lugar a  las galaxias.”

Inspirándome en la Teoría del Bing Bang, he realizado esta serie paisajística creando imágenes alegóricas del origen  del universo. Un inicio que podría no distinguirse demasiado de su fin. En este caso, un desenlace último, sin cabida ya a un retorno eterno. 
Mediante una fotografía primitiva con una estética de líneas y figuras reducidas a lo esencial, trato de dibujar un mundo poderoso y mágico ante el cual el ser humano se vuelve insignificante. Escisión naturaleza y hombre. Visión poética y catastrofista que vaticina un nefasto colofón causado por el descuido y la falta de respeto de un mundo que habremos autodestruido. Frente a las pretensiones de dominio, el paisaje es ahora desposeído.

Inspired by the Bing Bang Theory, this landscape series is consisted of allegorical images about the origin of the universe. A beginning that could not be so different from the end. In this case a final outcome, with no place to an eternal return.
By a primitive photography with lines and shapes reduced to the essential, I try to draw a powerful and magical world to which man becomes insignificant. Nature and man Split. Poetic and catastrophic vision, which predicts a disastrous colophon, caused by carelessness and disrespectful to a world we will have self-destructed. Faced men control desires, landscape is now dispossessed.

Vuelta a la formas primarias a través de paisajes desdibujados. Paisajes envueltos en una especie de atmósfera brumosa que simboliza la gran nebulosa que dio origen al universo. Paisajes pictóricos que recuerdan a la estética romántica. Escapismo al más allá. Mundo desenfocado, pintado, construido por nuestra psique. Vuelta a los inicios de la vida, cuando todo se formaba… Alegoría del engaño sensorial. Metáfora de fragilidad.
